First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a short virtual reality (VR) relaxation session can lower stress in healthcare workers before they enter the operating room. About 80 volunteers will either use a VR headset or sit in a quiet room for 10 minutes. Researchers will measure heart rate and ask about stress levels to see which method works better.
