Video game therapy for aching knees: can VR replace traditional physio?
NCT ID NCT06639867
Summary
This study is testing whether a home-based virtual reality physiotherapy program can help reduce pain for people with knee osteoarthritis. Fifty participants will either use VR games that guide them through exercises or follow standard home exercise programs for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the VR approach is practical and acceptable for patients to use at home before planning a larger trial.
