First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether watching calming virtual reality (VR) nature videos, including scenes from Saudi Arabia, can improve quality of life and emotional well-being for people receiving palliative care and their family caregivers. About 100 patient-caregiver pairs will take part, using VR headsets at home. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can reduce stress and improve mood.
