Summary

This pilot study at the University of Michigan will test whether short, regular sessions of virtual reality nature immersion can reduce depression, anxiety, and stress in adults with alcohol use disorder. Fifty participants in an intensive outpatient program will either receive standard care or add VR nature sessions using the Apple Vision Pro. The study focuses on whether the approach is practical and acceptable, while also measuring mood changes.
