Fighting germs with VR: can a video game teach kids to stop spreading viruses?
NCT ID NCT07168759
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) game can be an effective teaching tool to help primary schoolchildren learn and stick to good hygiene habits. Researchers want to see if kids who play the educational VR game wash their hands better, have fewer germs on their hands, and get sick less often from viruses like COVID-19 and the flu. The study will involve over 2,000 children in Hong Kong, comparing those who play the game to those who receive standard health education.
