First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether watching a nature-themed virtual reality video during coronary angiography (a heart procedure) could lower pain and anxiety. 90 adults who had never had the procedure before took part. One group used VR while the other received standard care. The goal was to see if VR offers a simple, drug-free way to improve patient comfort.
