Virtual nature walks ease anxiety during heart procedures
NCT ID NCT07483619
Summary
This study tested whether watching calming nature videos through a virtual reality headset could help patients feel less pain and anxiety during a common heart imaging test called coronary angiography. 90 adults scheduled for the procedure were randomly assigned to either use VR during the test or receive standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free distraction could make the experience more comfortable for patients.
