VR headsets ease pain during heart procedures
NCT ID NCT07483619
Summary
This study tested whether watching nature videos through virtual reality headsets could help patients feel less pain and anxiety during coronary angiography, a common heart test. Researchers divided 90 adults having this procedure into two groups: one watched VR videos during the test, while the other received standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free distraction method could improve patient comfort during an awake medical procedure.
