Summary
This study tested whether adding virtual reality (VR) balance games to standard physical therapy helps stroke survivors with weakness on one side (hemiplegia). 43 patients were split into two groups: one got regular therapy plus VR games, the other got regular therapy alone. After 20 sessions, the VR group showed better balance, walking, and quality of life improvements.
