Can vitamin d help IBD patients? new study investigates

Summary

This study aims to learn how well people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis follow a daily vitamin D supplement routine over 12 months. Researchers will also check if vitamin D improves quality of life and disease activity. About 150 adults will take 2,000 IU of vitamin D daily and complete surveys and tests at the start, 6 months, and 12 months.
