Can a vitamin d boost make light therapy more powerful against skin cancer?
NCT ID NCT07241585
Summary
This study aims to understand if taking Vitamin D before a light-based treatment can better activate the immune system to fight nonmelanoma skin cancer. Researchers will study tissue from 54 adults who are already scheduled for surgery to remove their skin cancer. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future treatments, not to change the current surgical care plan.
