Vitamin d levels may predict IBD Flare-Ups

NCT ID NCT07259603

First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether low vitamin D levels are linked to more active disease in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Researchers will measure vitamin D in the blood of 100 adults with IBD and compare it to their current disease activity. The goal is to better understand the relationship, not to test a new treatment.
