Scientists probe vitamin D's hidden role in diabetic blood pressure
NCT ID NCT03348280
Summary
This study aims to understand how vitamin D levels might influence blood pressure in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will collect blood samples from 40 participants to examine their immune cells. They will test if these cells, taken from people with low or high vitamin D, affect the production of a hormone linked to high blood pressure.
