Could vitamin d levels hold a key to blood pressure in diabetes?

NCT ID NCT03348280

Summary

This study aims to understand how vitamin D levels might influence high blood pressure in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will take blood samples from 40 participants to examine a specific type of white blood cell. They want to see if these cells from people with low vitamin D produce more of a substance that raises blood pressure compared to cells from people with sufficient vitamin D.
