NCT ID NCT07481240

Summary

This study is testing whether eating vitamin D-fortified bread can prevent vitamin D deficiency during winter in Irish families. Researchers will enroll 390 family members who will receive either fortified or regular bread for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if getting vitamin D through everyday foods is enough to maintain healthy levels when sunlight is scarce.
