Can fortified bread solve Ireland's vitamin d problem?
NCT ID NCT07481240
Summary
This study is testing whether adding vitamin D to bread can help prevent vitamin D deficiency during winter in Irish families. Researchers will enroll 390 family members to compare those eating fortified bread with those eating regular bread over 8 weeks. The goal is to see if getting more vitamin D from everyday foods is enough to keep people healthy when sunlight is scarce.
