Summary

This study looks at whether taking daily vitamin D or fish oil supplements can lower the risk of developing atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) in healthy adults. Over 25,000 men and women without prior heart disease or stroke are taking part. Researchers are tracking who develops atrial fibrillation to see if these supplements offer protection.
