NCT ID NCT07549620
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study compares two treatments for painful tooth inflammation: vital pulp therapy (saving the nerve) and standard root canal (removing the nerve). 34 adults with deep cavities and tooth pain will receive one of the treatments. Pain levels are measured after 24 hours and 1 week, and healing is checked at 6 and 12 months using AI-assisted X-rays. The goal is to see which approach causes less pain and better long-term outcomes.
