Summary

This study tests whether visual decision-support tools help surgeons better discuss risks and benefits of surgery with patients who have prostate or kidney cancer. About 20 urologists and 200 patient visits will be studied, comparing conversations before and after the tools are introduced. The goal is to improve communication and shared decision-making.
