Scientists track how stroke Survivors' vision changes over time
NCT ID NCT04798924
Summary
This study aims to understand how vision changes during the first year after a stroke damages the visual processing area of the brain. Researchers will follow 60 stroke survivors in the US and Canada, measuring their vision and taking brain and eye scans at set intervals. The goal is to learn how the visual system tries to recover on its own, which could help design better rehabilitation programs in the future.
