Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality therapy could prevent anxiety, depression, and PTSD in adults who had a lung transplant. 62 patients used a VR headset with scenes that gradually increased stress, like ICU alarms, to help them get used to the environment. The goal was to reduce psychological problems after surgery.
