First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether watching calming virtual reality (VR) nature scenes, including local Saudi landscapes, can improve quality of life and emotional well-being for people receiving palliative care and their family caregivers. About 100 patient-caregiver pairs will use a VR headset at home for several sessions. Researchers will measure changes in quality of life, stress, and heart rate to see if this approach helps ease symptoms and emotional burden.
