Virtual reality goggles could replace opioids during leg surgery

Summary

This study tests whether using a virtual reality headset during leg artery surgery can lower pain and anxiety. About 90 adults with peripheral artery disease will either receive standard care or add VR during the procedure. The goal is to find a non-drug way to make the surgery more comfortable.
