Summary
This study tested whether wearing virtual reality (VR) glasses during a leg artery procedure (angioplasty) can lower patients' pain and anxiety. 52 adults having elective angioplasty were randomly assigned to either use VR or not. Researchers measured pain and anxiety levels at several points during the procedure and recorded any extra medication needed.
