First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding intensive virtual reality-based balance and gait training to standard physical therapy helps people who had a stroke within the last six months. About 48 adults will be randomly assigned to either standard rehab alone or standard rehab plus VR training. Researchers will measure mobility, balance confidence, and quality of life to see if the VR approach leads to better recovery.
