Virtual reality job coach aims to keep prisoners from returning to crime

NCT ID NCT03937128

Summary

This study tested whether a virtual reality job interview training program could help people leaving prison get jobs and stay out of the criminal justice system. Researchers compared 101 prisoners who received the special training alongside regular vocational services to those who only got the regular services. The goal was to see if better interview skills led to more employment and less re-offending.
