Virtual bike rides aim to boost mood and mobility for dementia residents

NCT ID NCT06466460

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual cycling activity can improve the quality of life for older adults with dementia or cognitive impairment living in nursing homes. About 60 participants will either use a stationary bike with interactive films or continue with their usual care. Researchers will measure changes in mood, behavior, physical strength, and overall well-being after 8 weeks of cycling sessions.
