New radiation beam targets facial pain without surgery

Summary
This study tests a new, non-invasive radiation method called Virtual Cone radiosurgery for people with trigeminal neuralgia whose pain is not controlled by medication. The goal is to see if this frameless technique can safely and effectively reduce severe facial pain. About 40 adults with uncontrolled pain will take part at a single hospital before expanding to more centers.
