Study tests which breathing tube method works best for Babies' first try
NCT ID NCT05902013
Summary
This study compares two techniques for placing breathing tubes through the nose in babies under 1 year old who have heart defects and need heart surgery. Researchers want to see whether using a video camera on the tube (video laryngoscopy) or the traditional direct view method works better on the first attempt. The goal is to gather information about which approach might be safer and more effective for these fragile infants.
