First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether a specially designed video game could help adults aged 45 and older stay healthy and active as they age. Over 500 people in Spain were randomly assigned to play the game or read online information about active aging. Researchers measured their health status, emotional well-being, and other factors before, right after, and at 3, 6, and 12 months after the program.
