Vibration therapy shows promise for twisted neck condition

NCT ID NCT07245615

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether gentle vibrations on neck muscles can improve head posture in people with cervical dystonia, a condition causing abnormal head positioning. Fifty adults with the condition will receive different vibration intensities during a single 3-hour lab visit. Researchers will measure head angle and sense of position to see if stronger vibrations work better.
