NCT ID NCT07327957
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a vibrating device or doing breathing exercises right before a chest tube is taken out can help lower pain and anxiety. About 70 adults who need a chest tube removed after surgery will be split into three groups: one gets vibration, one does breathing exercises, and one gets standard care. The goal is to find a safe, low-cost way to make this common procedure more comfortable without relying only on medication.
