New program aims to save veterans from suicide after hospital discharge

Summary
This study tests a program called CLASP for veterans at high risk of suicide after leaving the hospital. About 850 veterans will either get usual care or usual care plus extra support through CLASP for 6 months. Researchers will track suicide attempts, deaths, and related behaviors to see if the program helps.
