First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a special device that seals the leg puncture after a heart procedure for atrial fibrillation. The goal is to see if it helps patients get up and walk sooner compared to standard manual pressure and stitches. About 100 adults having AF ablation will be randomly assigned to either the device or the standard method, and their recovery time and safety will be tracked.
