Testicle blood flow may predict fertility surgery success

NCT ID NCT07517952

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study will check if blood flow inside the testicles can predict how well men recover after surgery for varicocele (enlarged veins in the scrotum). Forty infertile men will get ultrasound scans and give sperm and blood samples before and three months after surgery. The goal is to see if better blood flow after surgery leads to improved sperm quality and testosterone levels.
