NCT ID NCT07145866

First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a type of brain stimulation (accelerated TMS) to a standard quit-smoking drug (varenicline) helps adults stop using nicotine products like vapes or cigarettes. About 30 adults who want to quit will receive either real or fake TMS while taking varenicline for 12 weeks. Researchers will check if the combo leads to higher quit rates and lower cravings.
