New hope for OCD? experimental drug trial seeks to ease debilitating symptoms

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called valbenazine can safely reduce symptoms in adults with moderate to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Thirty participants will take the drug or a placebo for six weeks each, with a break in between, to see which is more effective. The goal is to see if valbenazine can help people better manage their OCD symptoms.
