New flavored chemo drink offers hope for kids with hard-to-treat cancers

Summary
This early-stage study tests a flavored, drinkable chemotherapy called VAL-413 (Orotecan) for children and young adults (ages 1-30) whose solid tumors have come back. The drug is given by mouth along with another chemo, temozolomide, for 5 days. The main goal is to find the safest dose and see how the body processes the medicine. About 20 participants will be enrolled.
