First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether a safe, non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve can improve memory in healthy older adults. Researchers will compare memory performance with and without stimulation in 150 people aged 65-80 and a younger group. They also want to see if gut health or early Alzheimer's markers affect the results.
