First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study is for veterans with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and PTSD. It tests a non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve (nVNS) to see if it can improve memory and reduce PTSD symptoms. Participants will use the device twice daily and be monitored for changes in brain activity, stress responses, and inflammation. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to help manage these chronic conditions.
