Zapping the vagus nerve to boost aging brains?
NCT ID NCT07214194
Summary
This study aims to see if a gentle, non-invasive stimulation of the vagus nerve can help improve memory formation in healthy older adults. Researchers will enroll 150 participants, including both young adults and seniors, to compare the effects. The study will also investigate whether gut health and early signs of Alzheimer's disease influence how well the stimulation works.
