First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how two different vaginal products—estradiol cream and a moisturizer—affect menopause symptoms and vaginal health in women with HIV. About 62 women with HIV and menopause symptoms will use one of the treatments for 16 weeks. A separate group of women without HIV will also use estradiol for comparison. The goal is to see if these products improve symptoms and change the vaginal bacteria.
