Summary
This study tested a nurse-led program to help veterans with HIV control their blood pressure and reduce their risk of heart disease. 305 veterans took part, receiving either the nurse-led support or educational materials only. The goal was to see if the program could significantly lower systolic blood pressure over 12 months.
