New model aims to cut unnecessary antibiotics for UTIs

Summary

This study tests a prediction model to help doctors decide if antibiotics are really needed for urinary tract infections (UTIs) in the emergency room. About 47 women with UTIs will be enrolled. The goal is to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use and fight antibiotic resistance.
