Summary
This study involves 330 adults who visit the emergency department with a suspected urinary tract infection and are sent home with or without antibiotics. Researchers will review and adjust the antibiotic prescriptions based on lab test results to see if they can reduce the use of strong antibiotics like fluoroquinolones. The goal is to improve antibiotic use and track side effects, but this is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
