First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study follows 500 Beijing residents aged 60 and older to see how urinary function (like bladder and kidney health) relates to multiple chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and metabolic syndrome. Participants will have regular health checks, blood and urine tests, and questionnaires every 6 to 12 months. The goal is to better understand these connections and develop tools to identify at-risk individuals early.
