Urine DNA test may let some bladder cancer patients stop immunotherapy early

NCT ID NCT07475403

First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a urine DNA test can help guide when to stop immunotherapy in people with a very high-risk type of bladder cancer that cannot be fully removed by surgery. About 53 participants will receive immunotherapy and then be monitored with urine tests and scans. If the urine DNA test and other checks show no cancer, they may stop treatment early and enter active surveillance, aiming to reduce unnecessary therapy while keeping the cancer under control.
