Summary
This study aims to understand if having high levels of uric acid in the blood is connected to developing fatty liver disease and liver scarring in obese adults. Researchers will observe 111 participants to see if there is a link, which could help with earlier detection. The goal is to gather knowledge to inform future prevention strategies, not to test a treatment.
