Summary

This study aims to understand if having high levels of uric acid in the blood is connected to developing fatty liver disease and liver scarring in obese adults. Researchers will observe 111 participants to see how common fatty liver is in this group and measure their uric acid levels. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help with earlier detection and inform future treatment strategies.
