Summary
This study aimed to create a way to measure stigma and discrimination in children and young adults with chronic tic disorders, including Tourette Syndrome. Researchers worked with 43 participants to develop and test the Tourette Discrimination-Stigmatization (TD-STIGMA) scale. The goal is to better understand how stigma affects people with these conditions, which can help improve support and care in the future.
